Judy Holding
Judy Holding is a Melbourne based artist who has been practicing for over twenty-five years. Her love of the Australian Landscape is the inspiration behind her sculptures and beautiful works on paper. The rich imagery that adorns her works is drawn from her lived experience of the Australian landscape and Arnhem Land. In 2012, Holding received a commission from Latrobe University. She has won the Banyule (2009) and the Mitchell Family Award (2007). Her work is represented in collections in Australia & the USA, including Artbank; Benalla Art Gallery; BHP Biliton; Deakin University Art Collection; Dixon Advisory; Holding Redlich; La Trobe University; Mildura Arts Centre; Museum & Art Gallery of the Northern Territory; National Gallery of Australia; Shepparton Art Museum; State Library of Victoria and Victoria University.
