Virginia Cuppaidge

Virginia Cuppaidge is an Australian contemporary abstract expressionist painter. She lived and worked in New York for almost five decades, before returning to live permanently in Australia. Cuppaidge’s exhibiting career has traversed the American, Canadian and Australian art scenes, with thirty-nine solo exhibitions and numerous public commissions and awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1976.
