Sophie McDonald

Valuations Assistant

Sophie is in her final year of a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney, majoring in Art History and Anthropology. Throughout her academic journey she has always been enthusiastic about pursuing a career in the art world. In high school, she was Art Convenor and Captain and has continued to actively support the art community at the University of Sydney. 

Sophie is a Resident Assistant and scholarship holder at Sancta Sophia College at the University of Sydney. In this role, she is responsible for fostering an academic environment for her fellow students, providing pastoral care and managing events. 

Outside of work and study, Sophie enjoys being with friends, reading and going to the cinema. 

Sophie supports Stella in her valuation work, through research of both artists and artworks, with a focus on Australian artists.
