Riste Andrievski

Andrievski is drawn to photography for its immediate, graphic and expressive qualities that enable the artist to tell stories in the form of pictorial narratives. Raised speaking two languages, Andrievski’s images communicate, through the visual, ideas that might otherwise be lost in the space between languages and cultures. His work centres on notions of identity, in particular the influence that landscape has on identity and self.
